Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Hos-Scans is committed to making hos-scans.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor to be able to learn about our services, request a quote, and reach our team, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

01Our Commitment

We aim for our website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

We design and test the site to work with assistive technologies such as:

  • Screen readers
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Voice recognition software
  • Screen magnifiers, browser zoom, and high-contrast settings

02Accessibility Features

Our website includes the following features:

  • Semantic structure: clear page titles and a logical heading order so pages are easy to scan and navigate with assistive technology.
  • Keyboard access: navigation menus, links, buttons, and forms can be used without a mouse, with visible focus indicators.
  • Readable design: text and backgrounds chosen for legibility and sufficient color contrast.
  • Text alternatives: descriptive alt text for meaningful images; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
  • Accessible forms: labeled fields and clear error messages on our quote and contact forms.
  • Reduced motion: animations are minimized when your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Responsive layouts: pages adapt to phones, tablets, and desktop screens and support zooming.

03Supported Browsers & Devices

Our website is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, on desktop and on iOS and Android mobile devices, together with common assistive technologies. Older browsers may not display every feature as intended.

04Known Limitations

Some of the work we deliver is visual by nature. Point clouds, 3D models, renderings, and virtual site walkthroughs are viewed in specialized software or third-party platforms that we do not control, and they may not be fully accessible to screen readers or keyboard-only users.

If you need project information in another format, such as a dimensioned PDF plan, a written summary, or a walkthrough with our team by phone, let us know and we will work with you to provide it.

05Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review new pages and features for accessibility as they are built, check the site with keyboard navigation and screen readers, follow updates to WCAG, and fix issues as they are found or reported.

06Feedback & Assistance

If you have trouble accessing any part of our website, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us at info@hos-scans.com or call 945-276-9626. Tell us the page and the problem you ran into, and the technology you were using if you can. We typically reply within one business day and will work with you to provide the information you need.
