Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Hos-Scans does not sell your personal information and does not share it for targeted advertising. hos-scans.com runs no advertising trackers; its only analytics (PostHog) is first-party, used only to improve the site, and runs only if you accept it in the cookie banner.
Privacy laws, including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), give residents rights over their personal information either way. This page explains those rights and how to use them.
01Our Practices
We collect personal information only to respond to inquiries and to quote, perform, deliver, and bill our projects, as described in our Privacy Policy. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, people you designate, or where the law requires.
We do not:
- Sell personal information for money or other valuable consideration
- Share personal information for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising
- Use personal information for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects
- Sell or process sensitive personal data for those purposes
02Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising
- Know what categories of personal information we collect, and confirm whether we process yours
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you, in a portable format
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions
- Appeal our decision if we decline your request
03Opt-Out Requests & Browser Signals
Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to switch off today. You may still submit an opt-out request and we will record it, so that it applies automatically if our practices ever change. We will update this page and our Privacy Policy before any such change.
We also treat browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a valid opt-out request for the browser that sends them.
04How to Make a Request
Email info@hos-scans.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share" or "Privacy Request," or call 945-276-9626. Please include your name, the email address or phone number you used with us, and what you would like us to do.
We will confirm receipt and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will let you know and may extend that period once by up to 45 more days where the law allows.
05Verifying Your Request
To protect your information, we verify requests to access, correct, or delete personal information by matching details you provide against information we already hold. Opt-out requests do not require verification. We will only use information provided for verification to process your request.
07Appeals
If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing info@hos-scans.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond to appeals within 60 days and explain our decision. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General or your state's privacy regulator.
08Non-Discrimination
We will never deny service, charge a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised your privacy rights.
